EOPS Annual High School Conference: Local high school students from targeted high schools are invited to experience a day in college. This event takes place in January and over 200 high school students participate annually in this conference. The conference offers workshops on topics such as college resources, financial aid, educational planning, and information on how to apply to Fullerton College and EOPS. Student Recognition Ceremony:
An annual event that takes place in late May and the primary focus is to recognize EOPS students for their accomplishments. Students are recognized in the following areas: completion of an Associate Degree or Certificate, transfer to a university, scholarship recipient, and students on the Talent Roster. Fullerton College Tutoring Center offers Free Tutoring available to all students with current identification. Tutors are faculty recommended in their specific majors. Students can obtain tutoring on a walk-in basis in the following subjects: math, chemistry, physics and accounting. Students must schedule an appointment to receive tutoring in the following subjects: English, ESL, Psychology, Biology, Political Science, Computer Science and Graphics (including Internet and Web Design), Foreign Languages, History, Music, Nutrition, Geography, etc. In addition, EOPS offers eligible students added tutoring hours in the areas of math and English.
