    Program Eligibility

    EOPS is dedicated to providing OVER AND ABOVE resources to support your goals as a college student. In order to be eligible for the program you must:

    • Be a CA resident or AB540
    • Be enrolled full-time (12 units)
      • Students receiving Disability Support Services (DSS) may take reduced units
    • Have less than 55 college units completed
    • Qualify for the CA College Promise Grant (CCPG/BOGG Fee Waiver)
    • Must meet at least one Educational Qualifier:
      • No high school diploma, GED or equivalent
      • High School graduates with a GPA 2.5 or less
      • First generation college student
      • Underrepresented student population
      • Current or Former Foster Youth

    Onboarding | Steps to Complete

    Step 1

    Apply to EOPS: Please allow 2-3 weeks for us to review and process your application.

    Step 2

    Carefully read the EOPS Eligibility email sent to you and complete one of the following options:

    • Complete the EOPS New Student Online Orientation
      • Links will be included in your EOPS approval email
    • Sign EOPS Mutual Responsibility Contract
    • Schedule a one-on-one session with an EOPS Academic Counselor to create a Student Educational Plan
     

    Step 3

    The EOPS Program staff will contact you via email and phone regarding your EOPS Program status and any required documentation.

    Step 4
